The
Greenworks Philadelphia plan "recommends that the natural link between land and water be reconnected so that green infrastructure becomes the City's preferred stormwater management system."
The city will invest $1.6 billion in rain gardens, green roofs, tree plantings, rain harvesting barrels and porous pavers in order to deal with stormwater issues, especially "combined sewers."
